Hello, I'm Sarah, the founder and creator of Paper & Design (previously known as Pom Pom Studio) and Wild Fox Creative.
I am a proud mum to four gorgeous boys, Callum, Harrison, Oliver & Ronnie and wife of Stuart - my rock.
I've always had a passion for anything and everything creative and have over the years built a successful business that enables me to channel this energy to bring my own, and other people's visions to life.
It all started in 2012 when I stumbled across tissue paper pom poms (you know, those fluffy paper balls for parties and events). I loved how simple yet effective they were in changing the look and feel of a space. I began making and selling them online along with various other paper decorations. A year later, I had an enquiry that changed everything and set me on the path I am today.
A request from The White Company came in asking if I could produce over 1000 origami boats and roses for their store displays across the UK. Fast forward to 2020 and I have had the pleasure of working with lots of incredible clients, including Ralph Lauren, Harrods, Hobbs, Selfridges, Farrow & Ball, Warner Bros, Disney, ITV, Bobbi Brown and many more worldwide.
I now have the most amazing team of freelancers who work alongside me - I couldn't do this without them.
So why the name change...?
Pom Pom Studio had evolved so much over the years, in 2020 I no longer felt the name aligned to the brand. Where I'd started off making paper creations, I was now creating a wide range of bespoke products for retail displays and events. I needed a name that didn't limit the perception of our capabilities - Paper & Design was born!
After investing in an Epilog laser cutter/engraver system to assist in prop production I decided to broaden my product range even further. It was then I decided to set up Wild Fox Creative, this area of my business specialising in everyday paper decorations and bespoke laser cut designs; from jewellery and wall plaques to room dividers and much more.
In addition to Paper & Design and Wild Fox Creative, I also have a beautiful creative space in Ipswich town centre which can be hired for all sorts of workshops and events. The Studio is set in a quaint little courtyard, nestled amongst period properties and is host to regular workshops and events which you can book here or get in touch if you'd like to hire the space for your own event.
